QIPS (Quality Improvement Patient Safety) Hot Topic-November 2021

A monthly targeted short educational segment on QIPS will be provided by a series of QIPS experts via email and maintained as an enduring material on the MITE website. Self-assessment questions will be provided to reinforce basic concepts.

1. Define the affinity diagram and clarify when best to use.
2. Illustrate the steps in generating affinity diagrams.
3. Describe best practices when developing affinity diagrams.
