MaineHealth Nurse Residency Program Phase 1 MMC

The MaineHealth Nurse Residency Program includes educational activities to support New Graduate Nurses in the development of clinical skills, safe nursing practice, professional practice, and enculturation into the organization. Phase 1 provides for all of the above yet with additional time and resources to focus on clinical skills.

1. Identify strategies to apply in clinical and professional practice
2. Explore available resources to support or enhance clinical and professional practice
3. Develop critical thinking skills to apply in clinical and professional practice

In support of improving patient care, MaineHealth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
