APP Grand Rounds

Occurs monthly on the 2nd Tuesday starting on 9/10/2024 at 12:00 PM for the next 12 months ending on 9/10/2025 at 1:00 PM

We aim to create an opportunity for APPs across the Maine Health system to access ongoing education via interprofessional grand rounds. Lectures will be offered on a monthly basis, and can be attended in real-time virtually, or watched asynchronously when time permits. Further we plan to offer a quarterly in person grand rounds that will simultaneously be offered virtually. This will be the first consistent educational opportunity for APPs

1. · APP Introduce wellbeing domains that contribute to professional satisfaction
2. · Discuss different elements of culture of wellbeing that impact joy in medicine
3. · Discuss specific strategies that providers can use to immediately improve culture, individual and team wellbeing

In support of improving patient care, Maine Medical Center (MMC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. MMC can accredit continuing education activities with the following credit types: Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and American Psychological Association (APA). Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs)
