Course Overview

Psychiatry Grand Rounds is a weekly educational event where psychologists, psychiatrists and physicians of other specialties, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, educators and learners of all of these professions come together synchronously to learn from local and national experts then have the opportunity to ask them questions in real-time. Topics covered are timely, featuring cutting edge research into illnesses and treatment options relevant to those in the field of behavioral health.


Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:


  1. Critique changes presented in behavioral healthcare practice
  2. Apply improved skills in screening patients for psychiatric conditions
  3. Select appropriate treatment plans for conditions presented
  4. Question presenters to discern relevance of materials to the attendee's patient population
