Course Overview
The primary goal of Maine Medical Center’s annual faculty development conference is to develop competencies in leadership, medical and health professions education delivery and discuss emerging trends with colleagues. This conference will be offered virtually and in person featuring tracks in undergraduate, graduate medical education and interprofessional education. Attendees can expect skills development in leadership, an opportunity to showcase scholarly activity, experience educational innovations such as pecha kucha lecturing, and take advantage of interactive workshop offerings developed for our interprofessional faculty.

Objectives
  1. Identify challenges and strategies for healthcare leaders and teams.
  2. Describe time efficient methods to teach.
  3. Analyze educational innovations and coaching models.
  4. Appreciate the benefits of academic promotion.
  5. Describe and apply evaluation metrics discussed.
