Quality Improvement Patient Safety (QIPS) Managing Project Scope Through Chartering

A monthly targeted short educational segment on QIPS will be provided by a series of QIPS experts via email and maintained as an enduring material on the MITE website. Self-assessment questions will be provided to reinforce basic concepts.

1. Describe basic methodologies in quality improvement
2. Recognize data display techniques in quality improvement
3. Describe basic principles of patient safety
4. Translate principles and methods of QI and PS into clinical applications

In support of improving patient care, MaineHealth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
