MITE Academy Scholars Sessions 2024-2025

The Academy Scholar Program consists of bi-monthly seminars and other educational activities designed to provide a transformational experience for faculty in health professions education, including innovations in teaching and knowledge of education theory, scholarship and research.

1. To improve the designing and planning of learning activities
2. To teach and support learners
3. To assess and provide feedback to learners
4. To participate in education research
5. To assume education leadership roles

In support of improving patient care, MaineHealth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
