Pharmacy Grand Rounds is a monthly educational series for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. It is designed to present current guidelines for medication management of a variety of disease states, provide updates on new and innovative developments in pharmacotherapy research and technology, and address therapeutic dilemmas and controversies in medication management that healthcare professionals face.

1. Discuss pharmacotherapy for a broad scope of disease states
2. Present evidence-based literature to direct medication best-practices
3. Analyze controversial pharmacology topics and their potential impact on patient care
4. Detail the role of health information technology and the medication use process and the provision of patient-centered care

In support of improving patient care, MaineHealth is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
