Course Overview
Weekly meetings to discuss current Orthopaedic Surgical topics with the primary goal to enhance the patient care delivered by MaineHealth orthopaedic providers. Weekly topics include: case reviews, specialty topic presentations (encompassing all areas of Orthopaedics: Trauma, Total Joint Reconstruction, Operative and NonOp Sports, Hand/Upper Extremity, Foot/Ankle, Pediatrics, etc.), visiting guest lecturers, Morbidity+Mortality, Journal Club.

Objectives
  1. 1. Discuss evidenced based practice for a variety of orthopedic subspecialties including trauma, joint replacement, sports, pediatrics, hand, foot and ankle.
  2. 2. Describe cutting edge techniques in all of the orthopedic subspecialties..
  3. 3. Present challenging cases to the orthopedic community to gain other opinions.
